The origin
Why
The Symbiose?
The name is no accident. Symbiosis refers to a lasting association between two organisms, each of which benefits from the other. Here, those two organisms are the electronics and the furniture.
Most Hi-Fi furniture is designed to be beautiful. Ours is too — but its true role is not to alter what you hear. Vibration isolation, component decoupling, electromagnetic field management: every design decision has an acoustic reason.
A design patented several times over. Handcrafted by French and Swiss artisans.
The genesis
Research begins. The first concept answers precise challenges: the propagation of low-frequency waves, motor vibrations, electromagnetic fields, thermal expansion.
The first edition
Birth of the first The Symbiose piece. An object conceived as much as a decorative piece as an acoustic tool.
The refinement
Drawing on the experience gained, the second edition simplifies use and frees it from positioning constraints.
The culmination
Born from customer feedback: more compact, more flexible in its layout, without sacrificing any performance.
Golden Ratio Edition
The latest innovation. Currently on show at audiophile events in France.
Three founding
principles
Every The Symbiose is the result of an absolute standard across three inseparable axes. No compromise is accepted if one of them is neglected.
Acoustic engineering
Flat surfaces reduced to the strict minimum, a frame both rigid and lightweight, a slender cross-section that enables acoustic short-circuit effects. The furniture must not radiate.
Exceptional craftsmanship
More than 12 trades — metalwork, cabinetmaking, cabling, fitting — all French and Swiss artisans. Each piece is made by hand, with no compromise on quality.
Absolute bespoke
Tiers, materials, colours, finishes: every parameter is endlessly adjustable. A sample is kept to guarantee the continuity of finishes for any future extension.
Vibroacoustic study
Acoustic transparency
measured and proven
Compared to conventional audiophile furniture, The Symbiose stands out for its unrivalled acoustic transparency. Flat surfaces are reduced to the strict minimum, and the frame is optimal in vibratory and acoustic terms: rigid and lightweight, its slender cross-section takes full advantage of acoustic short-circuit effects, minimising both interference for the electronics and re-emitted noise.
